Corporate Investment (D-8-1)

For essential professional personnel engaging in the management, administration, production, or technology sectors of a Korean corporation recognized as a foreign-invested company under the Foreign Investment Promotion Act.

Venture Business (D-8-2)

For individuals who have established a venture business under the Special Measures for the Promotion of Venture Businesses Act, or those who have obtained certification as a prospective venture business.

For startup founders who hold at least an associate degree from a Korean institution (or a bachelor’s degree from overseas), and who possess intellectual property rights or equivalent technological capabilities.

Intra-Company Transfer under FTA (D-8-91)

For professionals transferred within a company based on the provisions of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

Major Investment (F-5-5)

For foreign investors who apply for permanent residency after investing at least USD 500,000 under the Foreign Investment Promotion Act and have hired at least five Korean nationals as full-time employees.
